On November 28, 2019, the conference on ‘Consciousness Modernization - a New Step to Successful Education’ was organized and held at the Business Center ‘Moscow’ in Nur-Sultan. The purpose of the conference was to determine the role of the educational system in the implementation of the main stages of the State program ‘Rukhani zhangyru’. The executive secretary of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the leaders of a number of Kazakhstani universities and public institutions of the country attended the conference.
ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov was represented by the Head of Department of Tourism, candidate of economic science, associate professor Duissembayev Azamat Aldashovich. Within the framework of the conference, he made a presentation on topic "Sacred objects and complexes of Nur-Sultan and Akmola region as a tourist attraction".
In his report, it was noted, that in 2017 after the publication of an article by Elbasy (the first president of Kazakhstan) in the Open ENU Press, an office project of the National Coordinating Council was embarked, which chaired by the rector of the university Academician Erlan Battashevich Sydykov. The team of the national university under his leadership has been actively participating in the implementation of the ‘Ruhani Zhangyru’ project so far.
In addition, Duissembayev A.A. on the basis of presentation materials, visually presented information about the sacred places of the Akmola region and the capital, noting their cultural and historical value for the people of Kazakhstan. The sacredness of these places increases the attractiveness of the region among domestic and foreign tourists. After the report, he answered questions asked by the conference participants.
